Pricing is a strategy decision, not a finance one

Tom Ashby

Most companies set prices once and revisit them only when a deal goes wrong. That is a missed opportunity.
Price is positioning
Your price tells customers who you are for and what you are worth. It deserves the same debate as your product roadmap.
If nobody ever pushes back on your price, it is too low.
Review it every quarter
Look at win rates, discounting and expansion revenue together. The pattern usually tells you where the price should move.
